Orders and Payment
Which payment methods do you accept? Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) and Shop Pay. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Can I change or cancel my order? Yes, if it has not been dispatched. Email info@glazeandfit.co.uk with your order number as soon as possible. Orders usually leave us within 1–2 working days.
Can I buy in person? Yes. We have a physical store at 34 Delaney Dr, Stoke-on-Trent ST3 5RG, open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Delivery
Where do you deliver? We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
How long does delivery take? Orders are processed in 1–2 working days, then take 5–6 working days in transit. Allow 6–8 working days in total.
Is delivery free? UK delivery is free on orders over £50. Below that, the delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
Will I get tracking? Yes. We email a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched.
Returns
Can I return something? Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return unused items in their original condition and packaging.
Who pays for return postage? We pay if the item arrived damaged, faulty or not what you ordered. For other returns, you pay the return postage.
When will I get my refund? Within 5–10 working days of us receiving and checking your return, back to your original payment method.
Products and Fitting
How do I know which window handle fits? Measure the distance between the two fixing screws (most uPVC espagnolette handles are 43mm) and check your spindle length. Cockspur handles are matched by stack height. Each listing gives these measurements.
How do I measure a euro cylinder? Measure from the centre fixing screw hole to each end of the cylinder. A 35/35 cylinder is 35mm on each side, 70mm overall.
Which gasket do I need for my windows? Gasket profiles vary between window systems. Measure the gap between the glass and the frame, compare it with our listing, or send us a photo of a cut end and we will help.
Do parts come with screws? It depends on the item, as stated under Package Contents. Some replacement handles and hinges are designed to reuse your existing screws.
Do you offer glazing or fitting work? Our online shop sells products only. For glass replacement or window and door repairs in the Stoke-on-Trent area, contact us to discuss your job.
